TWHS Band Lone Star Volunteers

A HUGE THANK YOU!!!! to all the volunteers that helped us out at Lone Star Preview on Saturday.  It was a very successful event.   We couldn’t have done it without you.  The feedback we kept hearing is everything is running smoothly, and of course, it wouldn’t have been smooth at all if we didn’t have, YOU, our student and parent volunteers.  We also had family members and returning college students sign in and help as well. 

I heard so many times on Saturday, just put me where  you need me.  It was so easy to just place folks which made everything just run.  We had so many students hang out during the day and help out as well.  Many of our posts were served by the students…thank you – thank you – thank you!!!

We had many folks that worked multiple and all-day shifts as well as help from our neighbor school, Oakridge.  A big thank you to the Oakridge team that took time out of their busy day to help our LSP event.

From initial feedback I am hearing, it was a GREAT day and event. The weather was wonderful as well.

Thank you again Band Family…we couldn’t have done this without YOU!!!
